Dashcams enhance driver awareness, protection, and overall road safety in our industry. We believe that informed and confident drivers are safer drivers. In our own experience, dashcams have encouraged more defensive driving, and our clients have shared positive feedback, noting how easily they can identify risks they may have previously overlooked. In the event of an incident, dashcams provide clear evidence to establish the facts. We also strictly adhere to privacy laws, ensuring that images of individuals are protected from unauthorized collection, use, or disclosure.

Compulsory PI PL Insurance for all Instructors/Examiners
Unfortunately, there are no current regulations requiring Motor Driving Instructors (who are not Accredited or Authorised Examiners) to hold Public Indemnity (PI) and Public Liability (PL) Insurance. Many instructors lack even basic Comprehensive Car Insurance, let alone PI/PL coverage. At our organization, however, we mandate that all instructors, whether MDIs or AEs, carry valid PI and PL insurance as Driver Trainers. The safety and well-being of our students are our top priority, and we strictly ensure that no instructor gets into a car with a novice driver without the necessary insurance coverage.

All Cars are professionally wrapped, fully insured, registered and roadworthy.
Many driving instructors or schools opt for removable signs or no signage at all, often because they don't adhere to road rules when not on duty. We've observed numerous instructors disregarding traffic laws simply because their cars aren’t marked, allowing them to drive carelessly.

We provide legal Tax Invoice for all of our services.
In our experience, many business issues arise from handling cash transactions. To ensure transparency and compliance, we provide proper legal receipts and tax invoices, and we are fully registered with an ABN and GST in accordance with ATO requirements. We offer a range of convenient payment options, including card payments with no surcharge, PayPal, EFT transfers, and Afterpay for those who wish to use this service.

Many driving schools advertise a “FREE RE-TEST,” but often include fine print that excludes retakes if the failure was due to a road law violation. At Adelaide School of Driving, our terms are straightforward: if you purchase a package that includes a free re-test, you are guaranteed a re-test with no questions asked, provided it’s after the mandatory waiting period set by DIT and subject to availability in our schedule.

NPC and DCSI Clearances are compulsory for every employee at our school.
At Adelaide School of Driving, we prioritize safety and professionalism by ensuring that all our instructors hold up-to-date DCSI Working with Children checks and National Police Clearances. We extend this standard to any volunteer drivers participating through job agencies, especially those assisting individuals in need. Additionally, our instructors regularly undergo re-training to continuously enhance their knowledge and skillsets, ensuring they are always equipped to deliver the highest quality of instruction.

It's important to note that not all Motor Driving Instructors (MDIs) are Authorized Examiners (AEs), which sets us apart in delivering specialized services.

Please note, not every MDI can conduct VORT assessments, as the Department of Transport and Infrastructure (DIT) limits the number of VORT examiners in South Australia. Currently, there are only 90 active VORT examiners, covering both metro and regional areas for Class C and HR licenses.

I had a really positive experience with Adelaide School of Driving and would highly recommend them to anyone preparing for their license. From the very beginning, I found them to be professional and transparent with their services, which gave me a lot of confidence in choosing them. I initially struggled with the VORT because of my nerves and anxiety, which sometimes caused me to miss key sequences. However, the instructors I worked with — Jamshed and Raj — made a huge difference in my learning journey. Jamshed was calm, patient, and reassuring. He never rushed through lessons and would go over instructions or techniques as many times as needed until I felt completely comfortable. Raj was equally supportive and encouraging, with a keen eye for detail. He quickly pointed out the areas where I needed improvement and helped me focus on those, which really boosted my progress. What I appreciated most about my lessons was that they weren’t just about passing the test — I actually learned valuable driving skills that I will continue to use well after getting my license. Both instructors made me feel at ease behind the wheel, and their constructive feedback built up my confidence over time. When it came to my test, I was understandably nervous, but my examiner Josef really helped calm me down. He took the time to explain what the test was looking for and reassured me that I didn’t need to be overly anxious. His instructions were clear, straightforward, and easy to follow, which made the whole experience much less intimidating. Overall, they not only prepared me for my test but also equipped me with safe driving habits for the future. Their professionalism, patience, and supportive teaching style made all the difference, and I’m grateful to have learned with such a dedicated team.

Had the best experience with Adelaide School of Driving. Helped me pass my VORT in one go! Special mention to Ruchi, the best instructor ever. She is super kind, funny and friendly, and I’ll never forget her tips for reverse parallel parking!
